Good to meet you
My name is Lorna Burrows and I am a professional copywriter, daydreamer and inexpert piano player living in Norwich, Norfolk.
I love writing, I’ve always loved writing – I wrote my first ‘book’ (a felt-tip penned effort with the pages glued backwards) when I was five years old. Now I am in the process of redrafting my first novel.
I’ve been working as a copywriter for the last decade, having scored a staff writer job before I’d even graduated from university. Since then I’ve never looked back. I type extremely fast and listen to a lot of music – I find that helps the ideas. I read a lot too – you can’t write if you don’t read.
My other interests include piano playing, horse riding and dog walking. I own a very badly behaved cocker spaniel with a black speckled nose and penchant for eating things she shouldn’t. She keeps me on my toes and there’s nothing so good for the soul as a long walk.
Well, apart from writing perhaps.
